About Us

A family-run boutique hotel in a quiet Maldivian lagoon, where real island life and gentle hospitality shape every stay.

Athiri Residence Goidhoo

Our Story

A family home turned island hotel

Athiri Residence Goidhoo is not a project born in a boardroom – it’s a family story. Our residence stands on B. Goidhoo, the island where our mother was born and spent childhood and where our grandfather once served as a local chief. Building Athiri here is our way of honoring that legacy and sharing it with guests who want something more human than a standard resort stay.

Welcoming the next generation

This residence is our mother’s personal project and a bridge to the future. Our niece, fresh from her A-levels, is learning every part of the business – from welcoming guests to planning excursions. When you stay with us, you meet three generations of one family, all involved in the same dream.

Consectetur Adipiscing Elitut

When you stay at Athiri Residence Goidhoo, you are invited into that story. You become part of a home that has opened its doors to the world, while staying true to the island that shaped it.

A quiet corner of Baa Atoll

Goidhoo sits in a small lagoon once known as Horseburgh Atoll – a ring of coral and shallow turquoise water around three islands: Goidhoo, Fulhadhoo and Fehendhoo. With only a few guesthouses here, the lagoon still feels open, natural and uncrowded.

Three islands, one lagoon

From Goidhoo, Fulhadhoo and Fehendhoo are just a short boat ride away. Together they show real Maldivian life: sandy village streets, small farms and fishing boats. Between them you’ll find picnic islands, sandbanks and clear, calm water for swimming and snorkelling.

Your place in the story

When you visit Goidhoo, you enter a living island community, not a manufactured resort zone. You share the lagoon with local families, fishermen and schoolchildren, while Athiri Residence Goidhoo gives you a comfortable base to explore their islands, reefs and stories in peace.

PACKAGEs

WHY BOOK A PACKAGE?

Our packages bundle your stay, key activities and some meals into one easy plan – so you spend less time organising and more time in the lagoon.

Smooth Planning

We combine rooms, transfers, lagoon trips and select meals into one itinerary. You know exactly what’s included before you arrive, and our team takes care of the details.

Better value

By grouping nights, activities and meals, we can offer more attractive rates than booking everything separately – especially for longer stays, families and small groups.

Local Experiences

Packages are built around what makes Goidhoo special: island hopping, reef snorkelling, fishing with locals, sandbanks and halal home-style food – not just standard resort tours.

Tailor-Made Options

Every program is flexible. Add or swap activities, adjust the number of days or focus on what you love most – from diving and photography to pure relaxation by the pool and beach.
