Our Story

Athiri Residence Goidhoo is built on our mother’s home island, where our grandfather once served as a local chief. Today three generations of the same family welcome guests to this lagoon, sharing their island life in a simple, personal way.

Two islands, one Athiri family

We also manage another property, Athiri Residence Dhiffushi, on a livelier island closer to Malé. Dhiffushi is energetic and busy, with many guesthouses and sports activities – perfect for travellers who enjoy that atmosphere.

Goidhoo is our quieter side. The lagoon is wide and uncrowded, and the rhythm of life is slower. Both properties share the same Athiri name and logo, but each island has its own soul and style.
